Randy Travis and John Esposito to Receive Prestigious Harmony Award in 2024

John Esposito and country music star Randy Travis will each receive the Nashville Symphony’s Harmony Award for 2024.

The two will share the distinction as the joint honorees of the Nashville Symphony’s 40th annual Symphony Ball, scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

“My love of Nashville kept me here; my passion for music brought me to Nashville and is my lifeline,” Travis explains. “The chances and difficulties presented in music turned my life’s path in such a favorable manner. Receiving the Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony honors me to be joining them in sharing our modern enthusiasm to open paths in music for next generations.”.

Renowned American country music singer, songwriter, and actor Travis is best known for his role in creating the neotraditional country movement in the 1980s and 1990s. With his 1986 album, Storms of Life, he was gaining immense recognition Hit songs on the album, “On the Other Hand” and “Diggin’ Up Bones,” brought him a lot of recognition.

Travis had huge hits with “Forever and Ever, Amen” and “Deeper Than the Holler,” launched a string of top chart albums, and won multiple Grammy Awards in his career.
