The New York Giants have officially reached the conclusion of the Daniel Jones era in their franchise’s history.
An emotional Jones expressed his gratitude and farewell to the organisation that draughted him on Thursday, following a session in which he participated in practice squad reps at safety while also expressing his gratitude.
While meeting with reporters, Jones read a statement that he had prepared in advance.
Jones extended his gratitude to the team’s co-owners, John Mara and Steve Tisch, and he showed his appreciation to the fans by gracefully accepting responsibility for the team’s failings during his tenure as starting quarterback.
An emotional response As Jones addressed his teammates, many of whom have given public support, he contained his tears and indicated that he is contemplating either getting a release or leaving the organisation. Jones also acknowledged that he is considering quitting the team.
At long last, Jones has shown his full backing for Tommy DeVito, who will take over for him in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
After all, a giant is a giant forever.
